What is the difference between the Binding and the Interaction event?

Post date: Feb 19, 2016 2:54:28 PM

The Binding event is related to a direct physical interaction between molecular entities (protein, RNA, DNA, etc.). Thus, it is a more specific relation than the Binding event. In fact, the interaction event must be only used when there is a relation between molecular entities which is not direct or not proved to be direct.
